Building a custom bar from scratch

October 31st, 2007 · No Comments

Building a real bar is not as difficult as one would imagine.
With that being said, with a little experience in woodworking and little help along the way, the sky is the limit -(or should I say the coffered ceiling, which is definitely one of your options), along with arches, columns, paneled walls, hand carvings, and plenty more details. Over the next few weeks,  we are going to take you where no Harry The Homeowner has gone before.
Stay tuned- We are going to bring you into a real woodworking shop and teach you the tricks of the trade. Everything from designing the bar, choosing the type of lumber, machinery, compound miters, flutings, to staining and finishing. So keep scrolling down and just like building a bar ,eventually we will finish this thing.
