Hey Caleb, The modifications to the W&H was mainly to the gears to slow down the feed, W&H has these new smaller gears in stock and it makes a world of difference when cutting moldings.

I just found this. great little site. I too love my W&H. I was just wondering about the minor alterations to the factory model...I was thinking for my next big run, I might drop for the new variable speed attachment they WH makes, but what do you guys do for better than factory results?.
 Thanks. keep it up.
